Some reviews indicate that certain dishes, like the stack, may not meet the expectations set by the rest of the menu, receiving mixed feedback in terms of quality. A few patrons have also commented on overcooked vegetables in specific meals, indicating that consistency could be an area for improvement. While the service generally shines, a handful of diners have experienced longer wait times during peak hours, particularly on busy weekends. However, these minor setbacks in an otherwise delightful dining experience don't seem to overshadow the overall enjoyment of Rococo.
Went here for a Sunday lunch. We went for the 2 courses for £25. I had the mushrooms for starters, and they were well presented and had great taste. Moved on to the turkey and ham for the main meal. Again, well presented with good portion sizes for each food type. The turkey wasn't dry which was great and was well accompanied by the gravy. Extra gravy was served on the side too.
This venue was great. We rocked up without a booking. Was met with a smile 😃 and "No problem" was seated and order taken. The food was 5***** Staff were polite friendly and nothing was to much trouble. When we come back to NI We will definitely come again. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.
We were just passing through Ballymena after going up Slemish and chose this restaurant randomly. The place is big and the staff were very friendly. We got a Sunday menu for £25 (3 courses) and the meat platter. Everything was very tasty and we left feeling satisfied! Highly recommended
I am very fascinated by the restaurant. Both from the staff and from the food. The stack was a little rougher than expected. The fish (smoked cod) was very tasty, with an amazing sauce, the vegetables - a bit overcooked. Sunday roast - perfect. The desserts even more. Excluding some small remarks, really tasty and fresh.
One of my favourite restaurants! The chicken and champ is beautiful, staff are brilliant and really good value for money
Excellent service, delicious food, great value for money, lovely ambience!
Nice place, lovely food, reasonably priced.
You can't go wrong with the 8oz. Sirloin Steak or the Sizzling Trio of Meats. For something lighter, the Atlantic Prawns and the Homemade Lasagne are crowd-pleasers. Don't skip dessert—try the Chocolate Fudge Cake.
